It's my understanding that all the TGIF shows had a disney world themed episode the night the episode aired. So, yeah she was playing the same character.

It was the Disney World episode. Both shows were being filmed in FL, dunno why. But yea. If I remember correctly Dana actually helped Corey Matthews hook back up with Topanga. And there was this huge long applause for Staci Keanan's cameo, as if we just didn't see her thirty minutes before. :?

actually you got the line-up wrong. I don't remember of Full House was still there, but I know Roseanne wasn't.
It had at least Family Matters, Boy Meets World, and Step By Step.
I remember Family Matters went to Disney World because that's where they held the technology contest where Steve showed off his invention which turned him into Stefan Urkel and Laura and Stefan got to enjoy Disney together. -

Full House and Roseanne had Disney World Episodes. Full House was 3 years earlier however as it was off the air by 1996. Looking up the airdates, only Part 2 of Step by Step's episode aired the same night as Boy Meets World episode.
Roseanne's was first in Feb, Family Matters April/may, Step by Step two parter in May and Part 2 sharing the same night as Boy Meets World.
