i just don't understand the attraction to this man every women he's been with looked like trendy accessories of the moment.
i guess when your resume says "dated clooney" it's always a good thing. no matter how long it lasts.

I think he treats them well. From our end it looks like he love 'em and leaves 'em, but they don't seem terribly distraught when they are let go, but then again we don't know what goes on behind closed doors. There are rumors that he makes them sign a contract to not reveal the details of their relationship, along with providing them a big pay off. It wouldn't surprise me. Maybe they know exactly what this is all about at the start.
If true, I think it's a very superficial way to live, but Hollywood is a different planet. -

I don't think he treats them "badly", but to me it looks like they're nothing but objects to him. He just breezes from one women to another and his relationships seem like they're set on a timer. It almost looks fake, set up, planned. I do think he makes them sign contracts/agreements. I wouldn't be shocked to find out that he's actually gay
definitely not saying he is but sometimes it just seems like it. I can understand him being single and being "linked" to someone, but he's actually in this "gf/bf" thing for a couple of years and then that's it. He advances their careers for a little bit, make him look like a "real" man, and when all is done he moves on to the next one and it's always who will keep her mouth shut because being next to him = lots of connections, advancement in the industry.
I think they go in this relationship knowing what it really is, but then probably end up hoping it could turn into something more like that Italian chick and the waitress.

Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me either if he's gay.
I'm not sure why a woman would agree to a relationship with him, either a real one or just being his beard if he's gay. I guess you get a lot of good stuff out of it, but in the end, what do you have?
At some point, people like us are going to start laughing at him, just like I do right now with Hugh Hefner (much ickier than George in my opinion). Some people already are. -

She might land a movie role or two but you know George is just tapping that for 6 months and they'll be done halfway through next year if that long. You think someone as famous and power as him is gonna settle down with a former professional wrestler?

Uhh I don't think Clooney gives a crap about the profession, or former profession, of the women he dates (most men don't if they're mature and really like the girl). After all, he seems to have dated a woman from almost every profession. He's probably like Barney on "How I Met Your Mother" who has tried to sleep with at least one woman from every country.

I love kids, but I do not want children. I am not sure why it surprises you that some women do not want children.

Not true. She's been quoted a couple of years ago that she looks forward to being a stay at home mom.

And he's NOT a user? I don't have an issue with his lifestyle, but yeah, he uses women for a few years, then when he gets tired of them - he dumps them quick and starts a new relationship quick.
Again, I prefer his lifestyle more than someone who marries a woman/man - promises to be faithful, then cats around on them.
However, George is as much of a user as the women he dates.
They're BOTH using one another.

She is dating a man in his 50's that1c84 has swore off ever getting married again and has no children.. He is not exactly someone that is going to settle down with her and have a family.. Clooney will be jet-setting around Hollywood like Jack Nicholson until the day he dies..
