No okay let me be real, this man-is the man, who gave me my very first feeevvvvahhhh!!
Back in the day ( when I was bout two days past bein born, maybe 6, 7, 8 years old) I don't know, same difference anyway) my momma used to take me and my lil brother to see all the martial arts movies (cause my uncles thought they was bruce lee) Okay!
but anyway, we are sitting there in the theatre, and the movie is coming on, opening credits flashing cross the screen and I see this tall, cafe au lait complexioned, SEXXX-TEEEE___ (fill in da blanks) brotha come on the screen.
wit a big, sexy, not a hair outta place afro. Ooooohhhh!! My!! Goodness!!
And it hit me!! I figured out all by myselfright there in that seat why there was boys and girls, menses and womenses, males and females, birds and beessnakes, snails, puppy dog tails, sugar, spice and everythang nice in the world. I figured why Romeo loved Juliet, why Samson couldn't stay away from Delilah and why David had to have Bathsheba! Whewwww!!! Weeeeee!!
    HeGaveMeFeevvaahh!!!!!!!!
I looked at my momma and back at the screen, she was calmI was bout to pass out! (this was new to me, okay, I was a child I didn't know nuthin bout dis stuff, hadn't ever felt nuthin like that before)
I was wonderin, if she was seeing what I saw. But you know I knew enough to keep my (I don't know what to call it) AWAKENING I guess I can say, to myself. You know back then (pre 911) parents was still dishing out backhands and A__kickins quite freely.
So I wiped the sweat off my brow, calmed my nervesand chilled.
Then as the movie progressed and I saw just how Cool he truly wasI fell in love. I was intelligent enough to understand it was just a movie but I still cried when he got killed. (That man did not have to beat him like dat!)
And I can remember after seeing that pretty man (not the word I wanted to use) for the first time in my little short life wishing I coulda been a woman already and not still just a little girl, cause with that awakening also came the realization that wasn't nuthin lil ole me coulda ever did wit all that manI was juss too young. 😞
He had me sweatin and my heart was racing, but I wasn't readyI was juss too young.
So when I got a little older, I had to see for myself again, if the man really gave me feevvaahh like I thought he did or was it just cause I was a lil youngun in need of some glasses or something.
So I watched the movie again when I got to be bout twentysomethin and it turns out I was right the first time, wasn't nuthin wrong wit my eyes, everythang was working just like it was supposed to. The man was fyynne! He was SEXXXEEE just like I knew he was back in the day!
Now I was thinkinI done growed up now baby!! And I can handle it!! But you done moved on and left meI was juss born bout twenty years too late. (smiles)

No I didn't see that, honestly I hated that movie, if I'd have bothered to ever sit and watch the whole thing all the way through I might have known Jim was in the deleted scenes before now.
