    I have never heard the good doctor's original review of 'The Matrix', but he seems rather disparaging about it when it gets referenced.
    I do agree that the sequels never sort of measured up to the original's great premise, but why does he seem to nt like it so much?

            Okay. Like I said before, I had never heard his review of 'The Matrix', but he always seemed rather disparaging towards it when reviewing films like 'Inception' and 'Looper'. I suppose he thought that they were quite different films from it and that the themes were too different.

              Just because he rarely uses it as a point of reference doesn't mean he hates.
