This was in her bio on IMDB. Rufus made Chaka famous? I don't think so Chaka made Rufus famous when Chaka left them, you heard absolutely nothing about them.

Maybe even younger, but she was 17 when she signed her first deal (which she was only allowed to do because she got married to her first husband which she was only allowed to do because she told her mother she was preggers with his child..she wasn't.yet, anyway).
