The photo on the box of "Mambo Italiano" didn't do him justice. However, I had to watch the movie several times not just because of the story line but because I liked looking at him. He has such nice and cool-sounding voice. I hope to see more movies with him in it.

I went to high school with Luke. Not so sure about the "hot", (then again, I'm a straight male) but he was always a fun guy, and very personable with everybody. He was never arrogant and a pleasure to be around. I'm glad to see he's enjoying a good deal of success, because I never figured that he'd attain this much in his acting career. I had him pegged for maybe a mediocre stage career, probably due to the fact that he never conducted himself as though he was all that great. Guess he was a better actor than I thought, huh?

I have only seen Luke Kirby in Halloween:Resurrection, so I have not seen his whole acting abilitybut he did do a good job playing a hormonal college guy. I do think he is nice looking, even though I don't really go by appearances, he has nice eyes and hair. I was so upset when Michael was getting ready to kill him, I had to change the channel because it made me upset!! I was like "No, he can't kill him!!" lol
I love him but everyday I'm learning, all my life I've only been pretending. -On My Own, Les Mis -

I agree. Luke is HOT! He has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. He's cutest witout the beard though.
And it's so cool he's a Canadian. I looooove Canadians, they're all so hot!

I can agree with the fact he's good-looking, as much as a totally straight guy can about another guy, but I totally agree with the fact he is extremely talented. Wonderful actor!! As opposed to those who've only seen some of his films, I've seen almost all of them, starting with Mambo Italiano. Although the movie had some 'mistakes' with respect to Italian culture (I can say that cause I'm Italian born, although Canadian raised), his talent shone through. It also did so in Luck, a film I watched several times only because he was in it. He's very talented. He's skillful at conveying emotion with a mear look and phenominal at pulling you into his character's situation. In fact, some of the best scenes in Mambo are when it's just him (ex: in the car when he quit work to write for TV; at the bar when he's all alone; and more) I also watched Shattered Glass, Lost and Delirious, Haloween: Resurrection, and (God help me) Window Theory. I would recomment that any true fan watch any of these movies, with the exception of Window Theory, to catch a glimps of Luke. I hope he goes back to doing a movie so I can watch hi in it, but I hope the director(s) and writer(s) have the ability to draw out that powerful natural talent he's got, indoubitibly honed with his extensive training. However, if anyone becomes aware of any theater he's in, please post it. I am moving to back to England, but will galdly fly in to catch him in a play. I bet he's great!!
Ciao.
lol But it's all good. Don't have to like everyone.
