Compelled to respond to Florence Henderson
I feel compelled to respond to recent statements made in the press by my long time friend Florence Henderson about my marriage to Adrianne Curry.
Let me begin by saying that I love Adrianne with all my heart and can't begin to imagine life without her. Our marriage is as true and certain as the love we share as Husband and Wife. Although we met under the most unlikely circumstances, our romance then and relationship now is as real as any that ever been created.
It hurts me deeply that someone that I have loved and respected for so many years; someone that has held an esteemed position in my life, would discuss overtly negative personal opinions about my marriage in a public forum. Since I was a child I looked up to Florence as a consummate professional and as a woman of unique class. I can only hope these recent comments are an aberration or better yet, taken completely out of context.
My love for Adrianne may have emerged and blossomed from uniquely odd circumstances. Yet the challenges this has created for us seem to pale in comparison to the challenge this has created for some persons to believe in us. It is no secret Florence and Adrianne do not see eye to eye. In truth, I can empathize with both sets of views. But.in the struggle I have hoping one day these two women will bridge their generation and philosophical differences, calling my marriage a sham helps so very little.
I put forth the hope that opne day both Adrianne and Florence, both of whom have played an integral role in my life, will find a way to come together in a peaceful and respectful way. In the mean time, the sanctity of my marriage should not be called into question
Sincerely,
Christopher Knight -

Let's be logical here
Why would Flo Henderson say such hurtful things publicly about Christopher? Maybe she was desperate for self-promotion?(Has been done before.).
There seems to be a difference of opinion regarding whether Christopher asked Florence to councel them whilst they were dating. What a load of rubbish! Is a 50 year old man going to ask Florence Henderson for dating councelling? Of course not!
OK, the two woman do not like each other. And the old girl has gone one step too far. Simple as that! -

I agree with you christopherbkk. That was a publicity stunt. A desperate attempt to get attention and she did. Even the press were taken aback by her comments. I guess we kow the REAL Flo now. Florence could eat Carol Brady for lunch. If Chris is like a son I would hate to be one of her bio kids.
Why isn't she as wooried about "cindy" who made a complete ass of herself on live radio..hungover.. -

A lot more class from Chris than Adrianne's namecalling throughout her blogs on this and her responses in her comments. Poor Chris doesn't have a clue. Busy man with a busy life while his wife s*uts her way around and on the computer most of the day. He's gotten himself in this mess and will suffer the consequences of ever taking her as a 'wife'. I will say that they will be divorced within the next 2 yrs barring no pregnancy on Adrianne's part. Chris will have to apologize to Florence in that he didn't take her advice.

We'll see how "happy" Chris is with Adrianne when he's SEVENTY YEARS OLD and she DUMPS his STUPID ASS because SHE'S only FORTYFIVE! Come onwhat 45 yr. old woman is going to be married to a SEVENTY YEAR OLD man, unless he's mega rich, which Chris 'AINT???
