Exactly, the song seems offbeat. Not paced right or something. I don’t even need to hear the Miley Cyrus version of Jolene because I know damn well she does way better job.

Miley's singing this song is actually really, really good. Even if you listen to just a bit in the middle, you'll see. Her voice is perfect, and she does the song justice. It's a very good cover.
