Your excuse for Katy not getting iTunes boosts is because her songs have already sold, though. Yet Gaga is getting bigger iTunes boosts with songs that sold more than any of Katy's. Therefore your argument falls flat on its face.

That wasn't an "excuse" for her songs not selling. We all know Katy was overshadowed. Nobody is denying that. However, what I am stating is that Katy's singles have sold better overall (with the exception of Just Dance and Poker Face).
