This board was fun. I never told you guys this, but there was a time when my girlfriend dumped me (yes, still like women
) and I had lost my job all in the same week, so while being INCREDIBLY miserable, I came to this board and kinda forgot about the pain. I enjoyed talking all things pop with you guys, getting into discussions, dragging and getting dragged and all that. It helped me overcome some things. It's hard to explain. Anyway, I hope we find a new place somehow. May Gaga bless you!

I know what you mean but I think most here will pull together at crunch time. We still have nearly 2 weeks to figure something out.
Is that the same girlfriend you told me about via PM? Sorry it didn't end well and thanks for sharing. For some of us this was a place to talk to your online friends and frenemies.
The question is, do we really want to join another forum and deal with restrictions from real administrators instead of the free-for-all we had here? Reddit is basic, ATRL is run by sadistic nuns, and everywhere else sucks. We need our own board, not a forum. Didn't you or someone say that Cortez created one in the past?
And what about keeping in touch via Facebook? Can't we start our own group if we're all friends and restrict it so only those of us in the group can see what's posted? We can all chat on tiny chat (is that still a thing?) or group chat on kik, Skype or some other medium, right?

I get what you mean. I am still living on the (delusional?) hope that they will come back. I STILL think this is the stupidest decision. Just go to any film, tv, singer board and you will see at least one or two (or more) threads about how sad they are the message boards are leaving.
I think it just won't be the same if we go to another board. It won't have the same magic.
I do like Datalounge. But they don't really talk about Xtina or Rihanna or some of the other pop divas. It's a gay site but they do have a number of film and music threads. They talk about Madonna and Beyonce and Janet but they really seem to dislike them (they really, really HATE Madonna
).
Pop Justice is an excellent forum, but it is moderated. It's UK-based. -
