Many sources say she sold 17 million and it's not unrealistic considering she had 4 hits in it, 3 of which topped the charts.
Also streaming adds more to sales, i'm not sure if mediatraffic(that says CA sold 14 and Stripped sold 11) is counting streaming.
Born This Way 6 million in 2011 is more impressive than 10-11 million in 2002/2003.
It's a bigger drop specially considering that she was in her peak when it was released and that 2 years before it's release she was selling 15 million.

Old albums are still streamed today, not as much as recent albums, but they are, iconic albums like Purple Rain, Thriller, most Madonna albums, Butterfly, Emancipation of Mimi, Miseducation111c of Lauryn Hill and Stripped are still streamed today at a certain degree.
In the case of CA some estimate it sold 17 million and considering the sucess of the singles it's likely it did.

If you knew how streaming worked you'd know 2 million copies worth of streaming was something even MJ has hard to achieve on one of his old albums now.
In reality, if streaming were to be added to the mix for whoever, it only result in 300k extra copies. 2 million is something not even The Weeknd accomplished recently.
You're so F_CKING stupid.

You gotta stop! BTW was the second biggest selling album of 2011. STOP with your nonsense. Adele's 25 is also selling less than 21. It's normal to drop. Britney dropped from 30 million to 15 million with her third album.

Adele's 25 is also selling less than 21.
21 singles were more sucessful and even though 25 still hit 20 million in less than 1 year, 25 can still sell as much as 21 and the difference is small.
Britney dropped from 30 million to 15 million with her third album.
No smash singles in Britney, plus i'm speaking of 1st and 2nd album, the difference of BOMT and Oops is small, the difference of The Fame and BTW is not, 15 million in her debut then her sophomore album sells only 6 million, it's almost a 10 million decline between debut and sophomore album.

He's pressed and his comparisons are not the same, Britney is Brit's 3rd album and i was specifically speaking of decline in the first 2 albums, that would disclassify Adele too cause 21 is her sophomore album and it sold way mroe than 19.

That's an EP, you idiot, that's not a new album and many don't consider it an album, it's an EP that in some places was bundled with The Fame just like Paradise was an EP bundled in some places with Born To Die.

Which means that some people bought both TF and TFM monster, meaning the actual number of people who bought her debut is smaller than 15 million, resulting in a smaller decline.
You're such an idiot.
