I was claiming it was on its way to becoming a
      classic
, maybe iconic. On its way. You have to remember there is no female song released pre 2010 that has more streams than Halo. That says something since streaming is obviously the future and the way you will determine if something is a hit or not. It's already like that.
Besides, there was a thread claiming Halo is forgotten. This is PROOF of the exact opposite.

The amount of streams does not make a song a classic or iconic. That's like saying heavy sales and radio airplay determine whether a song is a classic or iconic, which isn't true.
Halo is a popular song, but it will never be a classic, and certainly not iconic.

That's not the same thing at all. The fact that the song is still in such heavy
          EIGHT
years after it's release is certainly an indicator of being it classic. Let's also not forget the song gets covered on a frequent basis .

Literally no one thinks it's becoming a classic except for the Fleahive. Go ask a random person on the street and they'll laugh in your face.

Giiirl, you claimed Nelly Furtado had iconic songs. With all due respect, but your opinion doesn't matter

Hmm maybe you're right. But what does make a song iconic for future references?
Halo is a popular song, but it will never be a classic, and certainly not iconic.
People on here claimed it was forgotten not that long ago, glad you agree it isn't at least.

First of all she stole it from Leona Lewis
Leona wrote Halo? This is news to me.

Sometimes I do think how that song would've jumped started Leona career again if she had it in Echo. Such a shame because it's miles better than Happy. If Beyonc truly stole it (don't know) that's very nasty. Leona must of blocked Beyonce on Snap chat.

No, but the song was meant to Leona, we all know Leona is dumb and can't recognize a hit song so she passed it and it went right on Bey's lap.

I personally prefer its twin Already Gone.
