I'm a big Indy fan and I'm posting here for the record. I thought his performance was great just great. And to think he was going to give up acting for good and become an agent when they offered him this fantastic role.
And I was sad when I learned a few years ago that he was no longer with us.

Yeah, his character in Raiders was cool. He also had a good role in Buckaroo Banzai as the President. I was wondering what had happened to him, why I had not seen him in recent roles. He was an excellent actor, indeed.

When I was young and saw Raiders, and saw this guy, he scared the crap out of me because of his evilness in the movie

Mr. Lacey did in fact have a cameo in The Last Crusade. He played the role of Heinrich Himmler, leader of Nazi Germany's SS. He's the man in black with glasses in the shot of Hitler giving his salute to the crowd as the camera pans.

Lacey definitely had great presence in all of his scenes in
Raiders
. Thanks to his performance, he gave us one of the best villains of the series.
