I had the pleasure of seeing Miss coco Peru perform at the Village in Hollywood, CA. I was living at the K.T. House at the time. The K.T. House is a part of the Gay and Lesbian center in Hollywood. We, as being part of the house, got to see the show for free. The name of the performance was called, "Undaunted."
The performance helped me in so many ways. It really touched a spot that I had shut off in myself cause I was coming out of a bitter relationship that I moved to Los Angeles for. Coco gave me hope again.
After the show she signed autographs for the people that wanted one. When I was face to face with her I had to try not to cry. I looked at her and started to go, "I am about to cry." She just smiled. I had 2000seen her in trick and just about everything she has ever done. The moment was truly memorable for me. She is what made me ultimately decide I was ready to do what I wanted in my life. I am now getting ready to go back to College and I am getting my life back in order. She also helped me decide to move back to San Francisco, CA. I am now living in an apartment and much better off.
I did get Coco's autograph also. She said, "Dear Eric, Stay Sweet and I Love that you almost cried. Love, Coco Peru."
