I only watched him "die" (shot) two times in a film, and both times he dies the same way, with his hands up and fingers kinda clawed (just like in Silence of the Lambs). Is it some sort of trademark or something, maybe just a coincidence?

its a remake anyways. i believe after a movie has been out a certain amout of time, you can give away spoilers.

I actually just looked him up because I had the same exact question. In Silence of the Lambs, Heat, and The Hills Have Eyes, he dies the same way with his hands in the dead bug pose. My best guess is that it's a5b4n homage to SOTL, but then again, I haven't seen his earlier movies.

well he died the same way in the gun fight/ bank heist scene in heat, on the floor with his hands and arms in a strange position, claw handed sort of thing. maybe it is just a coincidence
