A fake star that you have to buy anyway from a fake, superficial industry that doesn't reward substance seems a perfect fit.
The raison' d'etre of Hollywood is one big PR act to promote its industry and image so why should this star be any better or worse than the one they gave to

,
Richard Dawson
,
David Hasselhoff
or some other hack. There are no standards, just the business of making money for the movie industry.

The so-called beef is that an actor does not a 'star' make. Linder is on the same level as 1000 other actors with equal resumes and degree of fame, but you already know that don't you? And she is less established and famous as those who don't have a Walk of Fame Star.
What, you don't care about the lack of respect for the ceremony?
The other beef is that you obviously are on the Kate Linder! board(of all boards) because I am here. That is transparent of you. -

Deidre Hall,Melody Thomas Scott,Susan Flannery,Genie Francis,etc they are all daytime legends who are more accomplished than Linder in the field of Daytime yet they do not have stars. No offense to Kate Linder,who seems nice,but she doesn't deserve a star in my opinion. Being charitable and kind is not a qualification for a Star on the Walk of Fame
