You're right about Rex having talent. And besides, he's kind of cute in a tall bald Texas way.
Dr. Phil, of course, isn't an actor, so he's not supposed to have talent. Being tall and bald in his field is probably an asset for credibility.

He only looks like Dr Phil from the forhead up and that's it. Besides, he's got a lot more talent than Phil and a better personality. I have the same forhead problem and I wished I looked5b4 more like Rex.
