Do we even know if he has a family? I agree we need to know more about Tripp!

Yeah, Frank has a wife and kids. It was mentioned that his marriage is a bit strained in the season 2 episode BAIT, where Delko actually suspected Tripp of murdering a female private investigator hired to lure husbands into infidelity by hitting on them.

It was later mentioned he was divorced and that he's from Texas originally. Rex Linn really needs to be in the Credits just like Paul Guilefoyle is on CSI: Vegas.

wasn't he on the credits for the last season?

He's listed late in the opening credits but they sure took their time putting his name there. I really like the way he delivers his comeback lines. Sorry but I think he's better than Caruso.

It's not that difficult to be better than Caruso 🙂

Very true. Rex actually seems to become the character he's playing, rather than "acting". In that, he's a far more believable performer than Caruso. He also seems comfortable in edgier performances, such as the one in which he browbeat a confession out of an innocent kid. Scary good, that performance!
