At the risk of adding legitimacy to the question, which is really none of our business, I should say that the reason no one would ask if gay actors were secretly straight is that straight actors never had to hide who they were.
Please don't ever forget that our two-faced, quasi-religious American culture, always giving lip service to the intended founding principles of "freedom" and "liberty and justice for all" only very recently stopped putting gay people IN JAIL for what they did behind closed doors in what should have been the privacy of their own homes.
Now, we face another problem, or at least, celebrities do. If they are gay, or bisexual, or have any other form of atypical but legal sexual variation, they must either "come16d0 out", in other words, share their most private aspects of life with everyone, or they face being called "closeted" or "disloyal" to whatever "community" wants them to play the role model.
It is a necessary evil. I see it as a short-term evil that will eventually lead to a better society. When we eventually get tired of hearing about celebrities', especially actors' sex lives, the question will lose its prurient nature, lose its mystery. People are what people are and we have to take them as they come. We will know if we have improved when the only time a person is asked about their sexual preference is when the person asking is looking for a date.
Love is like breathing. You have to take some in and let it out to live. -

Why didn't the marriages work out? Maybe because it's two people who just aren't right for each other. I had a gay friend giving me this line of crap because I dated a lot of women, and the reason they don't work out is because when dating women, you have to put up with a lot of their hormonal crap. They are emotional, and being a rational thinker, it's a lot of crap to deal with, or maybe they have other problems, like drinking, drugs, prescription drugs and taking to excess, mental health issues. There are a million reasons not to stay in it with someone.
Are you saying every marriage with 100% straight couples works all the time? Do all gay couples stay married all the time? Some people just believe in the idea of marriage and they marry over and over thinking "This time, I'll get it right."
It send to me that only a homosexual might question a straight man's sexuality IF they have women problems. Maybe because they don't deal with women in the same way, they don't get how complicated it is. Doesn't matter if you're staying or gay, all relationships have their complications.
I had a gay friend and after he asked me if I "might have troubles with women for.You knew.another reason" implying that somehow, I'm secretly gay, I asked him if maybe he's secretly straight, and that's why he had issues with other gay men.
Just such a stupid argument. -

Definitely not gay. I have meet him and talked to him quite frequently as has my wife. He would visit the video store on weekends where my wife worked when he was visiting his Mom. A very very gracious and humble man and again not gay.

Why on5b4 earth are people so obsessed with other people's sexuality? Is it anyone's business? I am quite sure that anyone who wonders if this person or that person is gay is probably gay themselves and very insecure about it. Although they have no reason to be. If you're gay and someone doesn't like the fact, that's their problem, not yours. You were born gay, that's how it is, it's perfectly okay. If anyone thinks otherwise they are uninformed, misguided and possibly bigoted.
Live and let live.
