    While I agree with the majority of posts about the difficulties Larry had with his role as Frank Burns, there is another side of Larry that may have escaped the attention of many viewers.
    I have noticed quite a few occasions when Larry had his face almost tied in knots trying not to crack up following some of the antics of the crew.
    The ability to keep straight face in some of those situations must have been very difficult.
    It was when I began to consider these points that I really began to appreciate the true ability of Larry Lavon Linville as an actor.
    Frank Burns may have been the most difficult character Larry Liville ever played, particularly with the rest of the MAS*H clowns playing up as was their wont.
