Don't understand actors who just stop acting

Probably don't want to end up treating her kids like Angelina Jolie kids always mobile never stable, Jolie kids are going to have some F*ked up personalities when they grow up same with will smith kids, Lohman she probably wants to raised her kids in a more stable setting.

Fortunately, "good looks" in Hollywood can be achieved with make up and a good styilist. This is the reason why many "hotties" look average or even ugly with no make up and sometimes even with it.

people over there are fake.
People are fake because of complexes, hypocrisy or when they want to use you for their personal gain, these are hardly things that can only be found in hollywood.
at the age of 30 you are loosing it
Plenty of famous actresses in their 30s -

I don't think that acting industry is as glamorous and great as it's seen from the outside. Some people just get tired of it and some others start doing it without even liking it just because they need to pay the bills. In these cases, actors retire once they see other options become available.

obviously she didn't want to work for a few years.
you can see by the parts she has taken. they aren't lead roles.
6 years off is like a kiss of death. rarely does any actor or actress come back with huge roles or movies. sometimes they make a couple of films and then stop again.
or just take one now and then. it's just hard to get back into it.
we'll see if she continues. she may not. -

Very naive of you to not know why actors suddenly stop acting, the answer is so obvious. Its because they cant get any parts! When they say they gave up acting because they wanted to do something else, they're lying!

Of course you don't get it, I don't get it either, but we are not actors. If you've been there and done that, well maybe you'd like to be someplace else and do something else. Especially if you don't try to maintain a glamorous lifestyle, you should be ok living off your savings for a while, maybe even your whole life.

Bridget Fonda was in a major car crash which resulted in spinal fractures in 2003. I read somewhere (can't find a citation, so take it for what it's worth) that she also has a heart condition (heart murmur?) discovered during the hospitalization for the crash which made her uninsurable and therefore unable to work in films. Her husband Danny Elfman probably does well enough for the both of them.

That is what it looks like here. She has two movies coming out so I am glad she is getting active again. I can certainly respect a person who is starting a family and want time to bond with their children. I have a cousin doing the same thing. She was on a good career path and had a baby a few months ago. She is taking a break and she and her husband are making special time with their baby.
