Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Alison Lohman

Alison Lohman is HOT. She's also seriously talented. She should have gotten the Oscar for Matchstick Men for Best Supporting Actress. She was the anchor in Things We Lost In The Fire, and absolutely amazing in Drag Me To Hell. Plus, she is one of the most beautiful actresses alive. I heard she doesn't act anymore because she's married. C'mon Alison, you're so much better than that. Such a talent, don't waste it!

She retired. She's raising the child and apparently running her eco-food store now.

What a waste of talent. I'm sure her career would've continued to take off if she'd kept at it. Maybe she'll change her mind.

Not made a film since 2009, I can see. It's a shame. I'm watching White Oleander and i'm finding her character interesting.
