I'm a happy boy. I've missed Louise. Ziva is still my number one, but, whatever character ex-Sofia plays, I'll be hoping that she's part of a successful spin off. Who knowsmaybe, Gary's out there waiting for a spin off of Without a Tracethey can call it Sans Pantser.. I'm sure they can of something better.
As for returning to CSI for a few shows, that would be an added treat and soften the blow of losing Grissom, Sara and Mr. Fruit in the Loom.

I herd of this new NCIS spinoff not long ago,and will always like the original one the best.But i will watch this one if they show in our screens down here?,and louise in a more regular role is good.
Also saw Chris O'Donell being in it,another movie actor to me,as seen in more movies,doing a tv show,but have seen here now done tv show's before this to.But like lawerence fishburne in CSI ,who i see has done lots of tv before movies too.So actors starting in tv getting big in movies and now back in tv for lack of work or other reasons?.

I think you are correct.
A lot of screen actors go on to do tv series because their screen roles dry up. Once they regain their popularity, they leave tv to back to the big screen. Some do well (Clint Eastwood), some bomb out.
Look at David Caruso. He left NYPD Blue to do movies. He didn't do well. He came back to tv and didn't get back on track until CSI Miami. James Woods tried with Shark. That show is gone.
I haven't seen much of Laurence Fishburne since the Matrix movies.
I saw Chris O'Donell on a very good tv mini series about the CIA. Haven't seen a lot of him in the movies. I guess he had a hard time living down his role as Robin.
They've gotta eat.
I hope this is not why Willem Petersen left CSI. He had a decent career in the movies for a while. Remember Manhunter? He was very good in The Contender. However, his character of Gil Grissom was so strong and well defined, he might not be able to distance himself from it for years.
Back to Louise, can't wait to see her on American tv again real soon.

Yea i remember caruso in some movies,not leading role that remember to much,one maybe with nicholas cage maybe had the lead or co lead?.And yes having to go back to tv again when roles dried up,and petersen i remember in the manhunter movie,maybe not at the time?,as 80's was it?.

You're right. I don't think Caruso played any leads in any major movies. The closest he got was in Jade.
Manhunter was back in 85-86? GREAT movie.

Yea seen harvey keitel,but with show not going to another series,wonder if do more tv work?.And yea keifer been on tv awhile now,maybe one of the early movie actors to do tv or again after the movies.And like medium too,and been on a few years,would need to check info here to see what her last movie was too.

It can't be soon enough. I read where the new team for the spin off will make an appearance later this season, including Louise.

It maybe Sofia since Louise is now going to be one of the stars of the new NCIS spinoff.
Can't wait to see the new show and it will be even better to see Louise back on TV.she's a great actress. -

I got another reply on the other thread (with a spoilers alert!). Check it out when you get a chance.
I've found myself watching a lot of re-runs of CSI on Spike with Louise's character involved.
I hope she has a meaty role on the spin off. It better be good for me to put up with LL Cool J.
I think Louise Lombard has that rare combination of beauty and machoism like the character of Ziva on NCIS, R2000eese on Life, Lisbon on the Mentalist.
I love a good looking woman who can kick ass.

Don't know why people are having a hard time on the CSI board about Sofia & the chance they may shove her on the bus with Warrick. She hasn't even been on the show for a couple of years.
Do they not understand even if Sofia is riding the Warrick Brown bus..Louise is still alive and has a new TV show!? I'm excited about that!
I know what you mean about LL Cool J.not to crazy about Chris O'Donnell either.
But if it has strong scripts and great writers like the ones on NCIS then the show should do pretty good.
You watch The Mentalist too? Love that show!
Combo of Ziva, Lisbon & "Sofia"that would make a good strong female character. -

Yeah, I like the Mentalist. I like all of the characters. Cho makes me think of my brother in law. I also like the quiet romance developing between Van Pelt and Rigsby. They had their first case of kissus impterruptus last episode.
No, let's not kill off Sofia. They might need her when Catherine falls off a cliff, Greg gets devoured by a rabid bunny and Nick dies from dehydration from crying once to often.
Since this is an NCIS thread, I feel the need to mention them at least once while I write this. Let's seewhat should I say?
Oh yeahKate's still dead.
I'll be watching the new NCIS even if one of the lab techs turns out to be Pee Wee Herman.
I'm glad you think my healthy respect for my buff, little wife is funny! I'm 5'10" about 200lbs. It's no fun getting smacked around by a 5 foot nothing, self described "delicate lotus blossom".

I agreethe brain dead writers on CSI have forgotten about Sofia & how the other characters are(Nick not "mourning" his best friend] so it would be best if she was kept forgotten & not killed off. Especially if this new show doesn't work out!
Never was that crazy about Katelike Ziva much better. The actress that played Kate is married to one of Sophia Loren's sons & has a child so she doesn't really need to act anymore.
