She left at the end of Season 7they just never showed her againlike Cousin Arnold in the Brady bunchthere one minute and gone again. I think they moved her out of the CSI team to springboard her into a new series which never materialized.like Law and Order LVN? She is in Season 8 but it was actually shot in Season 7 and was part of the Season 8 opener.

I stopped watching the later episodes of CSI but I heard she just disappeared, which is weird. Didn't they even give a passing mention of where she had apparently gone? lol.
Oh well, at least she'll be in the NCIS spinoff. That should (hopefully) be interesting. -

Not a word of explanation was provided. Sofia helped rescue Sara in the Season 8 opener "Dead Doll" and then she disappeared.
I can't believe the "NCIS" spinoff episode is tomorrow!! Well, Part One is tomorrow.
