I cannot believe that is her.
I repeat the name every time I see it on the beginning titles of CSI. I just couldn't think why it was ringing a bell with me.
I loved her in House of Elliot

While I don't think her acting is great, it certainly isn't as bad as some of the crap actors on television, these days.
I do find her completely incapable of doing a decent American accent, though.it is almost embarrassing to watch. Sometimes, I think the directors of these shows should let the character BE from England or Ireland or wherever if the actor can't do a good accent.
I mean, people do emigrate, don't they? It would at least be more believable than a bad accent

you should have seen this girl in House of Eliot. I never saw anything quite so sophisticated as she was back then.

I think her accent is fine.
When I first saw her in CSI I did not think it was her due to her accent.
Another question might be why can't she play a British person working in the US?
Ducky in NCIS is fun because he is English.
I do not know about anybody's hearing but you would have to be blind not to like Louise Lombard, those of us who are British have been enjoying her performances for years.

I'm no expert in terms of accents but I definantly never thought she was British when I first saw her in CSI. She may not do an extremely perfect American accent but, in my opinion, it's pretty convincing. At least I believed she was an American

bugbear, by DNA samples, what do you mean?
They should have let Louise speak normally. It's very clear, even with the accent, and she has a wonderful voice. Angelic, almost.
