Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Mike Lookinland

    FaithfultotheEnd — 12 years ago(June 11, 2013 03:36 AM)

Mike was not a redhead as is claimed in the biography of IMDB. He was and is16d0 blonde. It may be that he is "dirty blonde", but he was never a redhead. Whoever made that claim is mistaken. After the first season of "The Brady Bunch", Mike was allowed to use his natural hair color for the remainder of the series. He was blonde (or blond). He was also blonde in Irwin Allen's "Towering Inferno" film.

Perhaps it was reddish blonde. Maybe it grew out darker, sometimes that happens. It seemed to have a bit of a golden/reddish tone when it was permed during the Brady Bunch variety hour but often perming chemical will lighten the hair.
