According to IMDb trivia, "She met Gary "Cotton" Adamson at the Colorado State Penitentiary, where he was currently serving time for murder and robbery."
I would like to know exactly HOW one goes about 'meeting' a convicted murderer (never mind the 'falling in love', and getting married part) ???

a lot of people do, the more infamous the crime the more corespondence sent
serial killers esp get a lot of mail.

I saw a program about women who marry prisoners. One of the main reasons is that they don't have to worry about them cheating on them with other women..they don't get the chance! LOL
In her case, I think it was because she has some mental problems. They have better treatment for manic depression/bipolar than when she was diagnosed. She was given lithium at the time.I don't know if they even prescribe that anymore.
I had the chance to work with Michael Jackson who was as brilliant as they come.
