T16d0hats probably because she's a recluse these days. The last photo i saw of her was a nasty National Enquirer type pic taken on a telephoto lens showing a bloated middle-aged women trying to do her weekly shopping in peace.

Her stunning looks really did disappear amazingly quickly - When the remake of Lolita came out years back, one newspaper did an expose on Sue Lyon and how the film had ruined her life and turned her into a recluse. They printed a rare photo of her taken in the early 80's giving an acting class where she looked unrecognisable in thick spectacles and frumpy clothes. I guess the 1970's weren't too kind on her.

Sadly, you'll probably only get to see a pic of how she looks now either if they ever do another remake of Lolita, or when Sue passes away. In both cases, some tacky newspaper or magazine like the Enquirer will run yet another story on how Lolita ruined Sue's life,and print a picture of her in her prime next to an unflattering one of her now.

Hard to say what happened. She had a conturbated life with several divorces.
Was she emotionally unstable or chose badly her husbands ?
This happens a lot in every area when people cant manage w/ success.

She doesn't look bad at all given her age. Remind yourselves that she was not a natural blond and that contributed to her sex appeal. She's au natural!
