As much as I love William H. Macy, I salute the original Bill Macy, an excellent actor who continues to work but appears to be somewhat forgotten these days.

I spoke with Him , a Few Days Ago , in Los Angeles He said that He is always happy to hear from People who appreciate His Work.

That's great to hear! How is Bill doing these days? I wish he'd make more films. I loved him in "Serial," "The Jerk" and, of course, as Walter on Maude. He also did a very memorable guest spot as a TV news "gopher" on the sitcom "Back to You" a few years ago.
