I had the honour of meeting Art and his lovely wife last night. They dropped in to the pub that I work at in Devon for a meal and I spent a good half hour chatting with him. He is one of the nicest, most down to earth people, genuine, warm and extremely funny. Gina is also a lovely lady with a very quick sense of humour.
I've always been a big fan of his work, and it was refreshing to meet such a talented man who doesn't have the attitude problems that often accompany the doyenes of the profession!
Nice one, Art. You're a gent.
