Who knows? I don't know why people always act so surprised when somebody asks if a white actor or actress has AA ancestry, like it's something weird or strange or not even possible. Bla2000ck Americans have white ancestors, so of course, white Americans have some black ancestors too-they were just told to never talk about or even admit to it, for obvious reasons. As multicultural as this country has always been, that shouldn't even be a surprised to anybody.

Mansfield has no African ancestry, according to this bio of her posted on Wikipedia. "Jayne Mansfield was born Vera Jayne Palmer on April 19, 1933, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She was the only child of Herbert William Palmer (19041936), who was of German and English ancestry, and Vera (Jeffrey) Palmer (19032000), of English origin."(From 'Here They Are Jayne Mansfield,' by Raymond Strait (1992).
