She did steal her scenes! I had to come here and write the same thing, especially when I saw she was from MPLS.
Though Geoffrey Lewis was hilarious in the scene where he's going on about believing in Santa!

They are showing this movie ALOT on This tv!
thank god for This tv i have seen alot of films i otherwise never would have seen before!
I just want to be at the radio station hanging out with you guys listening to the music. although the earth's population has been eradicated!
You were also great in the film "Midnight Witness". that was a good movie altogether. I don't know if it was made for the large or small screen, but Max Caulfield was terrific as the truly evil cop!
Anyway, take care of yourself and have a happy new year !

since MGM is filing bankruptcy maybe you can pick up the rights to NotC?

I hope I was able to give you a laugh. smiles It sounds like you needed one.
I watched "Comet" a few times when I was in high school, and my recently-purchased TiVo decided of its own accord to grab it the other day when it was showing again on the "this" TV network (which was what sent me to IMDb this evening). I'm currently watching it and am enjoying see you and the others again. Have to laugh at the Eighties hair, don't you? more smiles
Thank you for responding. I'm always tickled when I contact an actor, musician, or other celebrity and I actually hear back from them. (It doesn't happen often, as I'm sure you know.)
Meanwhile, though, back to the movie your sister was asking about her fifteen bucks when your response came in. hits play button

Since the rapture is tonight, according to the news, found myself here. I knew the first part of this had a happy ending because I bought it a few months ago, I hope the sequel happens!

This was a really cool movie, and great action roles, for a couple of 80's chicks. I would love to see a sequal, but if it's boring crap, they need to just leave it alone.

Now on blu-ray, awesome! This was one of my favorite movies growing up - must have seen it a million times on HBO (when I should have been watching The Muppets Take Manhattan). Glad to see you still hold it near and dear.

Also, congratulations on the the release last year of the "Collector's Edition" of the movie on Blu-ray+DVD. I hope it lived up to your expectations.
I have a question for you about the movie Were those slaps exchanged between you and Sharon Farrell real? It sure looked that way!

Thank you! And they were kind of semi-real. Otherwise we would still be standing there trying to get the shot and our faces would be mush. 🙂

It's been a year and a half since you postedbut just wanted to say hello, I grew up with this movie and love it just as much now as I did when I was little. It's one of many things that define the 8o's for me. My dad recorded it off of some channel (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, whatever lol) on VHS tape and we wore it out! I just adore re watching it now and looking at all he things that make me so nostalgic-little things like the Raisin Bran box and the Toshiba boom box as well as all the merchandise in the mall.
I was just wondering if you and Catherine Mary Stewart ever talk. I think I saw on the NotC board that you have been to comicons in the past, that's really cool. Anyone else from the movie, like Willy the stock boy? Was he as funny behind the scenes as he was onscreen?
Know what else is cool? Being the inspiration for my all time favorite series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Amazing!
Hasn't the world changed SO MUCH since the movie came out?

Thanks for writing me. The world has changed, absolutely! Yikes. 🙂
Cathy and I just did Monsterpalooza in Pasadena last weekend, and will be doing IndyPop Con in Indiana in June. We are still good friends. I don't see very much of anyone else once in a great while I run into Sharon Farrell, but that's about it.

One of my all time favorite movies! You were fabulous, what a classic. Since you pushed to get it out on DVD, do you think there's any chance iTunes will offer it? A sequel is also definitely in order.

How typical. When someone shows interest, the studio will hold on tightly. And then stuff it back in the dark vault.
Like 'Sitka sings the blues', an animated movie of an Indian folk tale. Written and illustrated by an artist, a small movie on a shoe string budget. She wanted to use the music of a huge star - from 1920. Few had heard of her since, yet the studio that held the dusty license wanted $800,000 for the rights. On a $60,000 movie!
She wound up giving the movie away, online. How greedy and cruel of them. And they allowed Annette Hanshaw to remain in obscurity.
It would be interesting to see what you would do with a NotC sequel. Would you and DMK be driving a Mercedes minivan, with the grandkids? Maybe merge the radio station scene with the movie FM, or Empire Records? (and I just copyrighted these scenarios, so when you start writing, see my lawyer) haha
And would you still fit in that cheer leading outfit???
You were the best part of NotC. Mary was great, but you really sold the movie with that character. Could that casting magic be rebottled? We await
And it's really good to see how well the 3 stars did in their careers. And what? Even the creepy Monster Kid???
                                        Best of luck!

This film is one of my guilty pleasures. Still enjoy it and own it on DVD.
