I just saw the movie Nancy Drew the new one that was made today and I am wondering why they didn't give her a cameo part in it. Usually when a TV sitcom from before is made into a remake TV show or movie they give the old ones from the original parts and they should have given Pamela Sue Martin a part in it. Yes I met her once too at a Chiller Expo and we did a photo together and I got her autograph and she was very friendly. She could have played one of the teachers that went to the school Nancy was a student at since she is a middle aged adult now and its 30 years since her Hardy Boys Nancy Drew TV series so I am just wondering why they didn't give her a part in this recent movie.

My guess is Pamela has many ill-feelings towards her role as Nancy Drew and the show. I read an old interview she did for Playboy right after she departed and it stated she was unhappy with the silliness of the show (particularly the Dracula episode) and how the focus became more on the Hardy Boys due to their popularity at the time. She probably is happy to distance herself from the show and anything Nancy Drew.
