Unlike so many stage tough guys or actors who play tough guys. Iron Mike Mazurki was a true rough and tumble man. A professional wrestler in an era where men were paid more in bumps and bruises then the big bucks of today he was a charter member of the Califlower Alley organization. A gregarious friendly giant of his time he played the tough guy image to a "T". He was a decent character acter as well and his list of movie credits is long and illustrious. Rest In Peace big guy I enjoyed your work and remember meeting you so long ago.
