Good luck to her I guess but I really hate her views on nudity on film and the way she takes off her clothes with (as Jackie Collins would say) with monotonous regularity. I believe she said any actress who wouldn't do a nude scene should become a nun. That really annoyed me. I have never seen a woman take off her clothes in a film where it was justified (and no sex scenes don't count as the man always seems to retain his clothes). I think its the last vestige of sexism, degradation and a sort of sexual slavery ('if you don't show your tits, your career is going nowhere - women are practically FORCED to take off their clothes as are some men) and she has the nerve to say something like that? She's just trying to justify the fact that she was a victim of the system and instead of coming out and saying its wrong, she's condemning those who are brave enough to fight it. Ahrant over - bring it on folks!

I don't ever remember her saying actress' should become a nun if they don't want to take off their clothes. She made a big deal about the WOTN opening scene and talked about how nervous she was. Only time I remember her mentioning nuns is when she was talking about how she wanted to be one when she was younger.

Watch the Canadian Film Lie With Me. Which is a beautiful expression of womens sexuality. In some scenes the female lead still has some clothes one while the man is fully naked. This is a film that actually explores womens sexuality, without having the women naked for no reason. I felt that film was great, because they sh16d0owed a women in a males role without stereotyping her into a whore, and making the viewer feel like she wasnt naked to be naked to sell, but to tell a story. (Meaning she had some clothes he didnt)
By the way i do get your point, and can agree with you on some levels, but there is a difference between nudity to sell movies or nudity that tells a story. I have seen many movies that have fallen in either category. -

And yes, men do get naked sometimes. Mel Gibson, Lethal Weapon. Dennis Franz, NYPD Blue.

I'm sorry but for a guy to show a butt is not considered nudity to me.
I am tired of seeing naked women and only naked women.
Bring on the men and full frontal please.
I love the way the Hollywood head honchos tell us what is attractive and acceptable.
I happen to think a naked man with a good body is quite beautiful.
Let's even the score folks !
Show the ladies some skin from the men and I mean full frontal.
NOT just butts!
