Kevin Smith's blog about Jason's addiction?

Kevin Smith took down most/all of the posts from 2006 and published a book;
'My Boring Ass Life: The Uncomfortably Candid Diary of Kevin Smith'
Someone archived the entries that tell the story of Jason's addiction and it is still available online. Pictures aren't there and the link to the video doesn't work, but at least the 9 part story is still up:

Note-
Its considerably long:
Copy/paste in MS Word came out to 31 pages (10 point font, 1/2" margins, single spaced).
I started reading it and decided I couldn't finish it in one sitting because of the length. I wanted it portable (PPC/Smartphone) to read on my Treo when I got time. If for some reason you want a copy of the Word Document, for the same reason or to print let me know. It'll save some time/work. -

Go here

Then paste in these one at a time. Pick a date and you will find it.
I've checked all of them and they work.

Some hero posted a link to this entire blog (in another thread I think). You get it by pasting the links (which I think are in this thread) in to this website:

Read the blogs earlier today on the archive.org site. I'm amazed at what Jason and Kevin have been through. I haven't been able to get it off my mind at all, and now that I've seen the video, I'm in tears. -

The whole blog and video, to Kevin Smith, was all good. Very moving. Jason needs to write his own book. That would be a very interesting and excellent read. I'd say it'd probably be even better than Anthony Kiedis' book "Scar Tissue." To have a friendship like that is one in million. I can't say that I've had a friend like that in my life for that long or as long as they've been friends. They are both lucky to have each other in their lives. They are both great people. God bless them.

Amen!
That was mindblowing, both the story and the video. How you can come ever back from something like that, I'll never understand. Mewes is extraordinary to say the least.

I don't think words can explain the TOLERANCE that Kevin Smith has inside of him. How many other people can say they would be that patient and tolerant?
Lucky that Smith became famous and loaded with cash otherwise Mewes would probably be dead.
Luckily this story has a happy ending. Stay strong Mewes. -
