Oh, an update- apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so. In a search of "jason mewes looks like christian bale," I came across a Vh1 Best Week Ever page and saw the following [sorry, I'm not sure how to make the link clickable] :

Damn, yeah - looks very much like him in some pictures. Ted Danson is also looking great with5b4 all the white hair in Fargo. Kinda like Billy Connolly - the hair changes colour, but they still look the same as always.
