1: Mewes and Smith don't live together, so what Kev does has little impact as far as that goes.
2: They do the J and SB get old podcast specifically to help Jason stay sober bet you didn't know that he's married too did you?

i'm no beep infact i do alot to help the junkie retards in my area by giving advice about life choices and handing out canned soup during the monthly canned food drive thats more then you have ever done to help a junkie.

Jay's been sober for over 2 years, and it doesn't look like he's gonna relapse.
In fact, he's even producing a new Jay and Silent Bob animated movie, something he would never be able to do if he were on drugs.

Jason has changed whether you believe it or not. He's not Kevin's daddy and he's not responsible for what he does. He takes his wife with him on the road because she is his anchor she keeps him grounded and realizing that he wants to be clean. He relives his drug days through the smodcast so it will remind him what he doesn't like about himself and what he doesn't want to go back to.
On a side not Jason wears dentures he wrecked his teeth years ago and Kevin got him dentures one of the first times he was going through rehab and living with him.
