Not to me either. As you know, I love Vera Miles for her beauty, acting, and body of work. (As to acting, see the reply I posted to the Meryl board re iconic roles).
Its kind of funny because it struck me as, "they all look alike", blonde 50's actresses that is. But in some ways it is true because they tended to do their hair and makeup and dress them the same. It was the age of conformity afterall, at least superficially.
I have seen some resemblance between Vera and Kim Novak, and Doris Day. I know most people will heartily disagree, but I have seen it. Also, early on, Vera reminded me of Barbara Rush. Not so much resemblance, but the same cool, elegant type of aura. Plus, short, streaked hair. And they played the mistresses in that episode of "Outer Limits""The Form of Things Unknown". The guy loved that "type", until they killed him. That was a freaky deal, not my cup of tea. But love Vera and Barbara! -

There's no resemblance, except in your mind. And what's playing sisters have to do with it? Elizabeth Taylor and June Allyson once played sisters, so that means they look alike? Did Joan Bennett and Constance Bennett, real life sisters, look anything alike?

Your comparisons are invalid. I look nothing like my brother and so do many siblings. Sometimes actors cast in films as sisters/brothers do not resemble each other.
It is not "separated at birth" resemblance but they do look alike. They don't look like identical twins but they could be sisters.
I have an eye for beautiful woman. I will admit Vera was more beautiful. That is not a slight on Janet Leigh. Vera Miles was stunning. -

They do look like each other. As I stated in my thread they are both lovely. They were convincing when the portrayed sisters in Psycho. -

They don't have a strong resemblance, but there is a superficial one. They are both white and fair skinned, fair haired, regular features, albeit very attractive features.
It wasn't a stretch at all to believe they could be sisters. -

Wow, I think Vera is beautiful,but I'm not sure I ever thought she looked like a blond Liz. But now that you say it, maybe. I saw a picture of Liz in Sears tonight. It was for her perfume and I see what you mean.
The shape and planes of the face and nose are slender, not full or round in both women.
Janet like Joan or Scarlett, I'll have to mull that one over. You must have something there since Scarlett played Janet in Hitch.
