Because:
1:She's really hot
2:She's really funny!
There are plenty of dumb actresses in these films, but she is an actress who can act dumb really really well, in a smart way.

I am not sure of what she is doing nowadays to be honest with you. I am pretty sure she has her own website by now or if not she has to have her own page on MySpace you know. That is a possibility. That is how I stumbled upon a actress that I went through and found her bio. It turned out she had like a MySpace page.

Was smitten with her in "Beans Baxter", then saw her in "Return of the Killer Tomoatoes" and "Cannibal Women". Then poof! Never saw he rin anything again.

I first saw her in Charles In Charge back in the early 80's and then I saw her in Return Of The Killer Tomatoes and the other one was Cannibal Women. When COACH first aired Karen was in the first season friends with Coach Hayden's daughter. She then vanished and like you said now she still works to a certain extent in the industry though.
