Of course, people were having difficulty picturing Kristen as Bella when she was first cast in the role. Twifans immediately declared her "too butch", while other folks joked she'd be a perfect Edward when it was announced she'd star in the film.
The great thing is, after that series took off, Kristen has kept her usual "soft butch" way of dressing, talking, walking, mannerisms, etc, and
nobody makes a big deal out of it,
for the most part.

There is a resemblance, but their faces/heads are shaped really differently. Kate's face is more square and Kristen's more oblong. Kate is prettier.
