I would not be surprised because Shane and Kristin hold a similar lesbian vibe to them. While their orientations may not be concrete to the public, they both draw a certain mysterious attention that females are attracted to. They both have made a lot of people question their sexuality.

They do look alike. Especially with dark hair.
Nothing against Kristen, but Kate has more of a resemblance to Joan Jett. If the casting directors were going a slightly older route then Kate could have knocked it out of the park with that movie. -

I was watching The Lincoln Lawyer last night and as soon as she came on I immediately thought of Kristen Stewart. The do look very similar and like someone else on here said, they could play sisters.
i was watching three rivers and when i first saw kate i thought she reminds me of kristen stewart. they look very similar its crazy!
