Why is Michael Moore so hated?

It's all in the film, and all of the people who Michael Moore interviewed are also in this film, and responded word for word, tit for tat, of what was said and manipulated by mister Moore.
Your formulation of what you believe is a cause-effect relationship of events, demonstrates that you actually do not have good critical thinking skills.
Go look up anyone whom Michael Moore interviewed, and find out what OTHER film they were in, then go watch it.
Prediction; you are so convinced of some covert, clandestine, or otherwise manipulative conspiracy, that you'll even reject the responses that these people give in FRESH interviews CRITICIZING Moore for his exceptionally poor film making style, that you simply will not believe it.
But, who knows. Maybe I'm wrong.
Go now. Your destiny awaits. -

Because American people are the most butthurt people in the world. If anyone (fellow Americans included) criticizes their lifestyle, political system, economic system, etc - they start hating on this person. The Russians are exactly like that too. Two of the beep nations in the world.

Michael Moore is inconsistent and biased. For instance, he supported Obamacare. Now, call it what you want to call it, but the point is forcing a person to pay a "fee" because he or she did not want health care insurance is immoral. Next, he criticizes the neo cons' stance of foreign policy, yet never says a word about the neo liberal position (Obama and his use of drones that kill innocent people overseas). However, the foreign policy of Republicans and Democrats are the same. Both want more interventions (By the way, he supported Bernie Sanders who although voted against the Iraq War, has consistently voted to increase OFFENSIVE military spending in the senate). The list goes on and on. Overall, Moore is an authoritarian operating under the guise of liberalism.

Damn that was an extremely good post by you if I may say so myself. And your post certainly does in fact raise some excellent questions. WHY is there not way more outrage and protest over The Obama Administration's deadly and unprecedented use of drone strikes/attacks throughout The Middle East that have claimed a countless amount of lives, not to mention all the survivors of such military action who are now completely maimed for life and have also witnessed the numerous deaths of their entirely innocent and helpless family members? I mean one of his ordered drone strikes even resulted in the death of a young couple right in the middle of their actual wedding ceremony. It's just beyond criminal. But yet practically no one wants to take Obama and his administration to task for all the various war crimes that he's committed and has been responsible for all during his presidency over the last 8 years.
Obama's use of military force in Libya was also an illegal action and war crime that completely violated the terms of The Geneva Convention. Obama's actions in Libya were no different from Bush's own illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003. And speaking of Bush and his various illegal policies, Obama also continued with the use of Bush's unconstitutional act of wire tapping average Americans. Obama also ordered the assassination of a SUSPECTED terrorist individual. And The Obama administration has consistently bailed out all the big banks and Wall Street just as The Bush administration had previously done. But once again, hardly a peep out of anyone for any of these illegal activities committed by dear old President Obama.
It's truly tragic and upsetting.

That's of course totally fine and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that; although I imagine I really didn't even need to tell you that in the first place. But the fact of the matter is that Moore, just like most people, has his own personal political narrative that he wants to put across to all the people who watch and follow him. And he will very much bend and manipulate the facts in order to make any and all of the various political issues he's addressing fit into that particular narrative(again like most other people).

Moore tells the truth, or tries to, constantly.
Don't you know how people like that are received?
The ones who
lie
incessantly are more likely to be elected to the presidency, as we've just witnessed. They respond to our desire to be told things we want to hear, and so their endless pivoting goes unnoticed.
