According to his interview 5b4he was paid $250 as opposed to $25not bad for only having to appear for less than 3 1/2 minutes and having no speaking lines.

I believe that he was paid $250.00 for his one scene.
Nick Castle was paid $25.00 per day that he was there because he was the shape for the most part so he probably made more money than Tony Moran overall

I think that's pretty good, because I've always heard they don't have to pay you anything for nonspeaking parts. But that's usually just the extras, they get other perks besides money. I assume they paid him that much because he was the main character. Even though, like the other person said, he was only in about 3 1/2 minutes of the movie.

i agree - $250 for a nonspeaking role and only in the movie for less than 4 minutes is pretty good. it was also in the 70's, so if you had a role like his nowadays, you might make more money.

As a struggling actor I've done a lot of extra work. There are some extra parts you do get paid for, by the day, and others are non-paid and you're only there for the experience. There aren't really any perks associated with extra work beyond having to sit around on a set for 14 hours feeling bored and sweating off your make-up!

I think it was 250 bucks but still thats not alot hahaha. It was a low budget film and he didnt have a speaking part but you would think he wouldve made more than that?

Considering the total budget for this film.I would guess that his pay was in line with what he did. He's only in the film for a few seconds and it's not like he did anything worth more. He took a mask off and put it back on. How hard can that be?
The last time I checked, Nick Castle was (mainly) Michael Myers in Halloween and Dick Warlock was Michael Myers is Halloween II. This Tony Moran guy is milking his very very very very short appearance in this film for everything he can..that is what is truely sad!

Also $250 was pretty good money in 1978 when "Halloween" was made.

He was only in a one minute scene. Nick Castle was Michael Myers 99 percent of the movie. Moran was only used for a minute for his face when the mask was pulled off. He did not do anything else as Michael.

According to IMDB, he made $250, worth about 10 times more back then. Not bad for about 4 seconds of screen time in an ultra low-budget film.

$250.00 does seem more correct than $25.00. Remember too he was NOT Michael Myers. he was a stand in for the scene where he had the mask pulled off his face simply because they did not believe Nick Castle who was Michael Myers had the "face" they envisioned for Michael Myers.
