I saw Avenue Q on Tues 20/03/07 and I've been wanting to see it since visiting New York in early 2005 and love the soundtrack and couldn't imagine anyone else replacing Ann Harada, but was I wrong. Naoko was simply amazing, she was funny, had an amazing stage presence and a wonderful singing voice. I met her at the stage door afterwards and she was so nice, and even wished me a good night. I hope to go back in June and see it again.

She was great! I took a group and I sat on the aisle seat last night and during 'The Money Song' when they come out into the audience, she came over to me put her head on my lap and said "Pleeeeeeease donate. Me love you long time, 50 dollar!(Don't tell Blian)" then mimed well you get it. So very, very funny.
Saw her in McDonalds afterwards eating with the rest of the cast, Simon Lipkin was behind us in the queue and he was a total knobhead to us even though all we did was turn around and say "You were great tonight, it was a fantastic show", we didn't pester him for an autograph or anything (like some people behind him were) but he was very rude to us. But Naoko actually came up to us and asked if we enjoyed the show, then she treated us to some fries and a burger (alright it was McD's so it wasn't really a "treat" but oh well) and brought us over to sit with the cast who were also there and she signed stuff for us. So yeah a great performer and a great person all round. If you see the Royal Variety Performance she did for Ave Q don't base your opinion on that as I feel she underperformed vocally there, though I think that had something to do with the way they recorded the sound for the broadcast, sounded like they used mics as opposed to recording it at the soundboard.
