    The first album, definitely.

Plus, the first phase of "The Soft Parade" is among The Doors' most chilling and memorable pieces of work.
Agreed. I'm listening to it now.
They used their free speech on the most dating ways.
You cannot petition the Lord for prayer.
But honestly most of that album is almost a remix of their earlier work.

I'm pleased to see that Strange Days and LA Woman are rated so highly. The Soft Parade is classic Doors, he's a postmodernist lounge singer in it.

Don't get me wrong with "the lower, the worse", every album have at least 3-4 amazing songs.

                  L.A Woman
I like songs on all the albums made by the band before Jim died. I guess my favorite album that has the songs I liked more than the others would be L.A Woman.

                    Any of their live stuff.
You cannot consider yourself a Doors fan until you have heard it and like it.

One of the best debut albums ever.
