that's such a stupid argument. This is a forum about Kate Moss, not the OP, and so i think one is free to comment on Kate Moss without interjections such as "Can YOU do better?" Maybe, maybe not. Not really the point unless OP is a model, now, is it?
and btw that photo is one of the worst ive seen of her, ever. -

She was "SPOTTED" at JFK airport by a scout when she was 14. (this is the age most agencies pick girls)
She was still at Riddlesdown High School, Croydon at the time and was made to stay untill 16, I went to Ridds High, teachers often spoke of how she refused to sit her exams because she said she was going to be "famous". Ahhh! -

I find her fascinating as a model with a very unique face even though she still has "it", she no longer has that extra spark and glowing beauty she had just a few years ago plus her nose looks like it has taken a different shape.

I find her very average. Nothing impressive. Nor ugly, nor pretty. Just normal. Sometimes she looks pretty but it's either the airbrush, the angles, or both. I don't understand all the hype either. There are many models more beautiful than her who should be more recognized. I guess it's her personal life the coke, etc. make her so famous. Just like with Lindsay Lohan, she didn't make many movies, not all of them are great, but she's still famous here and in China!

Whether you find her beautiful or not she clearly is not ugly or so many people wouldnt find her so attractive. Its like saying Celine Dion cant sing just because you dont like her music. I dont care if people dont find her attractive, but saying shes hideous is a bit extreme. Personally, I think Kate Moss 111cis stunning. She is very naturally and effortlessly beautiful.

I've often wondered this myself. She's extremely short to be considered a high fashion model. She's actually the only model I can think of thats shorter than 5'9". I don't believe those stories about being "discovered." I'm sure it's happened before in Cinderalla land, but for the most part I think there's more to it. She must've had some type of connections.

I think she has an interesting face which works, but I think she only became a famous model because she started dating Johnny Depp. That was when she became famous right? I dunno I wasn't that old when they started dating haha.

Contestants will often re-unite on the holidays to practice for a christmas concert- orchestrated by their own spew. Imagine it: Jingle Bells, as rendered by multiple vomiting women.

It doesn't matter if her photos are airbrushed or not. The question is how did she become a model. She has had a lot of great photographs so obviously people are going to want someone who can look that good for their photos, campaigns etc whether they require airbrushing or not. Although people I know who have met her say she is incredibly beautiful in person with or without make up.
Also Kate Moss did not have friends in the fashion industry when she was signed. She was spotted by an agent on a plane. And she was already famous for her Calvin Klein modeling before she started seeing Johnny Depp though theres no denying that being his girlfriend helped keep her famous. -

Well photographers obviously see something in her that people who think she's 'hideous' don't. She has PERFECT face symmetry which makes her beautiful to the eyes of an artist.
