Trump Voters Angry at ‘Chaos’: ‘Not What We Signed Up For’

The Wall Street Journal reports that the consumer confidence that accompanied President Donald Trump’s entry into office has eroded.
Early polling data from Trump’s first days in office showed that the speed of the president’s executive orders concerned about the country.
Among those feeling anxiety are the president’s own voters.
“I don’t like the turbulence,” Trump voter Paul Bisson told the WSJ. “I don’t like the chaos in the market.”
Bisson, 58, creates proposals for a flight safety company and co-owns a dog daycare in San Antonio, TX. Bisson says he wants to retire soon but worries Trump’s policies “will make the economy worse.”
He continued, “That’s not what we signed up for.”
Geneticist Nicholas Schuch, 38, is considering turning about half his life savings into Swiss Francs because he trusts the country’s monetary policy more.
Reflecting the mood of many Americans in the early days of Trump’s second presidency, Schuch said, “I just expect things will be chaotic, and that that is what life is now."
