I think he could have worked as Bond.
His Peaky Blinder brother, Joe Cole (whom I love to absolute bits), would be perfect as Bond. Right age, right accent, right everything, really. And he can be anything. Incredible range. -

Cillian makes an excellent villain. But also an excellent innocent type. He's very versatile.
I don't find him scary looking at all. I think he's quite beautiful, and he's as Cork bhoy, so a little e xtra🥰🥰🥰🥰 his way.

As for the rest, Joe Cole can be suave, was Bond supposed to be swarthy?, and he's a bit taller than Daniel Craig. I concede Bond is supposed to be dark haired. He's also supposed to have a facial scar. And his mouth is supposed to be cruel, something Joe Cole's mouth isn't. But other than that, even his colleagues agree, he could easily be Bond.
But kind of glad he isn't. I wouldn't wish the craziness of the fanatics on him.
