In the movie The Sitter she looks identical to Meryl Streep. I haven't saw her in anything else though.

I saw her in 'A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge' and I thought she looked like Annette O'Toole.
      Haven't seen 'The Sitter'.

Yes, now that you say that I do see the resemblance.

Yeah, and she probably does look like Meryl Streep, too. After all, 'The Sitter' was made 6 years after 'A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge', so she probably has matured a lot since '85.
Haven't seen Meryl Streep in many movies. (Shame on me, right?)

To tell the truth I have only saw Meryl Streep in The River Wild and Death Becomes her lol, so I can't say I am a fan.
I watched most of the Nightmare on Elm street movies. and I guess I wasn't in to paying attention to actors/actresses back then..so shame on me too!

So, you actually did see Kim Myers' first film
And, you know, I saw 'Death Becomes Her', too. That's a very cool movie, I liked it a lot. (I guess that's the only Meryl Streep film I saw in its entirety and yet I didn't remember she was in it.)
Just goes to show you, how you can ignore the actors if you get into the film.

Funny, I saw that movie and thought it was Meryl Streep at a very young age. Elm Street 2 was a pretty old movie.
I went to this site to see if it's her, but I'm wrong.

You're right, she did look a whole lot like Meryl Streep in 1985. I wonder if they still look alike now.

hey, are you my twin? because I just did the very same thing :]
saw her, thought "I saw that actress somewhere", did a little brainstorming, came up with Bruce Willis and 3 woman film, imdb'd Bruce, found 'Death Becomes Her', clicked on actresses and found Meryl Streep, thought BINGO I found her, and then looked at the cast and came here 🙂

I myself thought she looked like Julianne Moore! I acually thought it was her in an early role!

if theyre not related (and im sure they arent) its really creepy. I first saw her on a seinfeld episode, and i told my brother "that girl must be meryl streep's daughter" and he thought the same thing, then i found the sitter on tv, and at the same time postcards from the edge was on another channel, so i kept coming and going :"fake meryl, real meryl, fake meryl, real meryl" until everyone else said: GOT IT! and then i stopped.

In "Never Sleep Again: the Nightmare on Elm Street Legacy" they said they cast her in Nightmare 2 because she looked like Meryl Streep.

Annette O'Toole also looks a little like Streep. Not as much as Myers does though.

She also has a resemblance to Natascha McElhone from 'The Truman Show'
I also first thought it was a young Meryl Streep, but I knew she was alot older.
